CIVIQ Society has a new member, Rafael Bán Jacobsen, 44 years old Physicist, from Porto Alegre – RS, Brazil.

Rafael holds a Bachelor’s degree in Philosophy, a Bachelor’s degree in Physics and a Master’s degree in Physics

Rafael has experience and published articles in the area of Nuclear and Particle Physics, mainly on the following topics: models of hadronic matter and quark matter, including magnetic field and temperature effects; nuclear astrophysics, with an emphasis on the study of neutron stars and protoneutron stars.

Rafael has published three individual books (they all won relevant literary awards in Brazil): “Solenar” (a novel), “Uma leve simetria” (“A slight symmetry”, a novel) and “Caligrafia do espanto” (“Calligraphy of amazement”, short stories).

Rafael’s hobbies include Reading, Writing fiction and poetry, Playing the piano and Petting his dog.

He is also a member of International High IQ Society (IHIQS) – Mensa – Intertel – Prudentia High IQ Society – Colloquy Society – International Society for Philosophical Enquiry.
