Bryan has two degrees in computer science and additional doctoral studies in artificial intelligence.

His interests include the nature and limitations of intelligence, the cultivation of expertise, myth busting, social protocols, machine learning, emotional intelligence, health food, geroprotection research, and alternative lifestyles.

He found out he was gifted at age nine, took an interest in philosophy at age 16, and has been an independent thinker ever since. He has been an active member in half a dozen high-IQ societies, starting with Mensa at age 18.
