I studied Computer Science, finished with the German “Diplom”-degree and afterwards also received a doctorate in the same field. The topic of my doctoral thesis was (the optimization of) Binary Decision Diagrams or BDDs.
I worked at two universities, gave a lecture course on BDDs and also wrote a book about them.
Now I work as a Research Associate at German Aerospace Center.
Interests: retro-computers (C64, Amiga, TI-99/4A, …), chess, recreational math, math in general, classical authors, cyberpunk / sci fi authors, literature in general, poetry, wordplay, good music (classical and contemporary), people with a good sense of humor, …
