Education: I began college as a business major before switching to molecular biology, then math. I finally settled on psychology, regarded by many as the first stop for the untalented, but what I consider the fourth stop for those with contextual interests in philosophy, biology, mathematics/statistics, programming, computer science, and linguistics, among others. I completed my Ph.D. in 2007.
Profession: I currently work in higher-level education, which was one of my primary motivations to join societies such as CIVIQ. I wish to gather well-reasoned opinions as to the state of education (what is wrong, what is right) as well as ideas as to how to improve it, which I may then empirically test in the classroom.
Hobbies: Tennis (a physical yet non-felonious means of stress relief), reading (fiction), movies, spending time with family and friends, writing.
Other Memberships: American Mensa, Intertel, Colloquy
