CIVIQ Society has a new member, Arturo Escorza Pedraza, 35 years old from Mexico City
Arturo studied at the National Conservatory of Music and the National School of Anthropology and History, both in Mexico City. He plans to move to Russia in early 2018. He speaks Spanish (native) and fluent English, Russian, French, Romanian in a pre-intermediate level, and he is learning modern Hebrew and Mandarin.
His interests include Baroque music (He has dedicated many years researching, locating and restoring New Spanish baroque music from the XVIIth and XVIIIth centuries), learning languages in a self-taught way. He is also interested in Quantum mechanics, relativity, solipsism and theory of simulation, Genealogy (He is a self-taught genealogist, He has traced his genealogical tree to the early XVIIIth century and to the early XIXth century in different branches.), 3D art, architectural design and rendering, video games creation, History, Archaeology, writing, neo-baroque music composition.

His personal statement is
I live to learn, I love to learn, I’m quite shy, and I suffer many phobias. I’m an operatic tenor and composer, a genealogist, a 3D designer, a novice writer, a self-taught polymath, a tour guide in Russian, trying to understand the nature of the Universe(s). I’m also a former Petty Officer of the Mexican Navy.
