This event will be entirely hosted on the WIN server. The chat environment is built as an add-on of the WIN boards and it uses permissions from the WIN boards.

All the members of the WIN affiliated societies and only them can participate in this first chat event. The only requirement to successfully login the chat is the registration in the WIN boards. Interested members of any WIN member society should register an account in the WIN boards and contact their society representative in the WIN boards to have their accounts activated and proper permissions granted to their account. The registration is simple and fast. Information about the name and contact details of each society representative in the WIN boards is provided following the initial step of the registration within the WIN boards – WIN Public Portal.

My name is Heather, and I work at Screaming Flea Productions here in Seattle (you may be familiar with the show Hoarders which we produce). We are in the research phase of developing a new show for Discovery Science.

This new show looks into the lives of the brilliantly creative/high-intellect of society that struggle with a mental disorder or challenge of some kind, impeding their ability to succeed in their specific field of interest. We are currently seeking out voices around the country from doctors, experts, and individuals who would be willing to speak out about this aspect of society.

If you’re interested in supporting us or providing info of any kind that would be wonderful. I’ll also attach a flier for the show to give you a bit more information.

Dear CIVIQ society members,

The elections process for the CIVIQ Society Council has started!

Any CIVIQ member could demonstrate his/her interest for any officer position of the Council. You can either post a simple initial statement of candidacy here or in the CIVIQ boards hosted at the main WIN boards.

CIVIQ Council synthesis requires a President, Vice-President, Membership Officer, and Internet Officer.

The nominations will be closed by 15 February 2010. The election process will then be open for all members registered in the main WIN boards members, who have been granted permissions to access the dedicated to the CIVIQ society boards (ie.  registered members, who had their membership status confirmed). The election process will be closed by 1st March 2010.

WIN Executive Committee will followingly confirm and announce the results.

In case that there are any enquiries about the whole nomination and election process, you could either use this area of our website to post your questions or directly contact Evangelos Katsioulis.
